Overview
Claude Code from Zero is a short video course I made for people who want a practical introduction to Claude Code without getting buried in jargon or advanced setup too early.
The goal was to make the tool feel approachable by breaking it into focused lessons that build from CLI basics into higher-leverage workflows like skills, sub-agents, and MCP.
Course Breakdown
- Episode 1: intro, CLI basics, slash commands, models, and modes.
- Episode 2: context, tokens, and managing the active working set.
- Episode 3: CLAUDE.md, rules, and memory as composable guidance.
- Episode 4: skills, when to use them, and how to create them.
- Episode 5: sub-agents, atomic delegation, and agent teams.
- Episode 6: MCP, tool extensions, and external system integration.
Why I Built It
- I wanted a resource I could point new users to when they asked how to get productive with Claude Code quickly.
- Teaching the workflow helped me clarify which ideas matter most for beginners versus what can wait until later.
- It also gave me a stronger public artifact that connects my hands-on agent work with developer education and community building.
